Although I do my best to supply flexible seating in my classroom, it can get costly. In my classroom, students are most comfortable to learn when they are comfortable. Allowing my students to feel calm and at peace at school helps my students stay focused on their work. My classroom is their home away from home. My students thrive in the classroom when they are able to choose another option other than a desk and chair. My students need a variety of seating options including beanbags and large pillows in order to be comfortable when reading, writing, and working together in centers. I have had these same students in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and next year will be teaching them 4th grade. I want to give these students a new, fun, and comfortable way to learn and thrive! I want to give them the best.
