My 20 minority students are inquisitive and eager to learn. They love when I go off on tangents just to tell them more facts and details about a topic we're learning! Although they can be a handful, they are great kids who want to succeed in life. All of them come from low socioeconomic families as do the majority of the students in our school. Our school is small, but the hearts of our students and faculty are enormous! Our school focuses on the whole child; making sure that their academic, physical, and social-emotional needs are met. Not only do we groom our students to be scholars, but also to be people of integrity.

About my class
