These Chromebooks will allow my students to experience learning through a well designed teaching model that requires technology. My students come from other countries and many of them are under grade level in mathematics. With these Chromebooks they will have access to programs such as Aleks and SuccessMaker which will help them developed their mathematical skills. My classes have about 30 students. My districts uses a three station model during 90 minute math blocks. Students spend about 30 minutes in each station everyday. One of our stations is independent learning with technology. Unfortunately, due to a low budget and budget cuts, the technology provided to me is very limited, outdated and not enough for large classes. These Chromebooks will be a complete game changer in my class. My students will be able to sit and work with confidence. They will no longer have to worry about not being able to do their work or if their current work station stops working in the middle of their session.
