The Amsco United States History text is an awesome resource for AP US History. This would become our primary textbook in AP US History. It is inexpensive, complete, and beloved by AP teachers around the country for both of these reasons as well as its accessibility for students. Our goal is to get more students involved in AP classes without it being cost prohibitive to students and their families. Many schools have AP students purchase this book themselves as part of the course, but that is not an option for us, as many of our students don't have that financial flexibility.
