I teach 4th grade general education to students in South Central Los Angeles area. Many of our students are low income, or immigrant children, many who do not have a lot of home resources or support for materials. I have been a teacher for Los Angeles Unified for 18 years, and I would love to be able to have some donations for items for my students to use in my classroom.
I work hard to create a home/family atmosphere, while having a positive, stimulating learning environment for all my students when they come in. The students in our community are so appreciative of the donations and supplies we receive, and/or what we can acquire. Having necessary supplies make a great difference in supporting students with their educational goals, and makes for happier and positive young people.
About my class
