My high school Science students need the opportunity to see how STEM applies to the real world. The computer will be used to access STEM based resources in the classroom. With this laptop my future Scientist will know how it feels to have scientific data in their hands immediately! They also need more exposure to biochemistry/wet science; the microfilm slides and the goggles will come in handy in terms of lab work. And the Legos can be used for almost anything in my classroom! Anywhere from a polymers, DNA chains to models for renewable and nonrenewable resources. Each resource has its own particular function but all of these materials will be used more than often throughout the classroom.
