Don't you hate sitting in a hard chair for hours on end? I bet when you go to Starbucks you head straight for the couches instead of the hard wooden seats. My students spend 7+ hours a day in the classroom. They need the same options you would want. Flexible seating allows students to learn in a more comfortable environment. I can't wait to see their faces when they see people who care about them and their day-to-day life in the classroom! Tables and flexible seating will allow students the opportunity to choose what makes them most comfortable. The largest student complaint this year is our inability to arrange seating for more small group activities. Students also complain that their seating is uncomfortable. Help me take the displeasure out of their learning experience with tables, wobble chairs. ball chairs, and Bouncy Bands.
