Throughout the day, I present worksheets, lessons, and educational videos on the whiteboard. Most recently, the fan on the projector began to overheat and automatically shuts off several times during my lesson. This causes a disruption in our learning and valuable instruction time. As a result, I have to wait for the projector to cool down, direct my students to move from their desks to the carpet, and present the physical copy of the document so students can see what I have modeled on the worksheet. Using the projector enables students to not only see what I am teaching but helps to engage the visual learners in my classroom.
