The microwave, griddle, and pots will help my kids to prepare meals for themselves and family members independently. The vacuum cleaner will help student learn to keep the floor area clean in which they are residing or doing work. Learning life skills within the household setting will help my students become independent when they are either on their own or living with minimum assistance. Students who have disabilities often feel that people do not give them a chance to complete tasks for themselves. We can give my students a chance to learn these skills that they can carry throughout life.
