Our classroom is desperate for a high volume color printer. Ours has recently "bit the dust" and we are devastated! Our recently passed printer was only a black printer, but it was well-loved, especially since it won't be replaced this school year. We need a color printer so that my students can enjoy all of the possibilities that come with color ink! A new printer would liven my classroom and my students learning. Kids love to print their work out on the computer because it makes them take pride in their work. Having a new color printer would give the children in my class the opportunity to add pictures to stories they type. Having a printer with not only black but colored ink leaves the possibilities endless in my classroom! I will be able to print out their individual pictures for their projects. All students feel a great sense of satisfaction and accomplishment when they see their work in published format. I want to be able to give them this feeling of satisfaction while they are learning along the way. Additionally, the printer will be used to print instructional materials, progress reports, and power points. Differentiation is the key to success for my students. The printer will allow me to print differentiated materials to meet the needs of all my learners. Having a classroom printer with ink will help my students be tremendously successful! I believe ink is a necessity for any classroom especially if the students are benefiting from it. Your donation will give my students these needed resources to keep our classroom running smoothly and effectively all year, while watching our learning gains grow.
