Our school is blessed to have a beautiful outdoor classroom. However, with the way the last two school years have gone, the plants inside are overgrown and in many of the flower beds weeds have taken over. The amount the bushes have overgrown makes it hard to use. As a service-learning project my class will learn about the plants and how to plant them, and then use what they have learned to help make the outdoor classroom beautiful and useable again. This will also give my students the life skills of caring for their own flower beds in the future.
