Most of our students have never worked with LEGOs, Robots, or coding. I want to teach them the basics and help to build their knowledge to open them to another world where learning is AWESOME! Robot building with seems so unattainable for these students. I have the background knowledge and experience in teaching this information, but simply need the equipment. I plan to create Robotics Club and incorporate not only technical kits with instructions, but also mystery bags (like the marshmallow tower, floating structures, and pom pom launcher) to boost their creative side and help their brains make connections and think freely with purpose!
