I am requesting some items to help my students regulate their sensory needs. I have a large classrooom but need to develop an area for my students to access throughout the day, to help them with their sensory processing. My students are very busy and wiggly, and when they get upset, they need help with regulating their sensory input. Light filters will help tone down the bright flourescent lights that can distract students. Sensory fidgets and toys will help with various sensory needs. Weighted lap blankets will calm my students by delivering the deep pressure that many of them require to focus. Students with special needs are impacted by so many factors and these items will assist them in handling the world around them. Please be a champion for my students and help us get these needed materials. Thank you!
