The Chromebook is quickly becoming the standard laptop for the classroom. It allows for a greater level of creativity and learning. I plan on using these Chromebooks for group projects as well as creating individualized learning activities. For too many of my students, these Chromebooks would be the only technology they have access to. The majority of my students are challenged with homelessness, extreme poverty, and other trauma. To have daily access to technology would build essential skills that they can then take with them throughout their education. They will be able to develop physical abilities such as typing as well as mental abilities, such as coding, researching, organizing information, and creating presentations. My classroom already has a computer workstations built into it, we just need your help in getting the computers.
