My students need access to a new library of reading materials at their reading and developmental levels. Currently, I am producing a majority of the reading materials used in my fine arts classroom to meet the varied needs of my students. This is time-consuming and often difficult to meld information my students need into appropriate grade level reading. These materials will not only save time but put the best information in my students' hands. A classroom library would mean elementary leveled materials would be available for all my students. Not only will they be reading and strengthening their literacy skills. Students will also have new knowledge of artists and techniques to draw inspiration from.
