I work with elementary students who are Deaf. All too often, the students in our school have access to limited language and real world experiences in their early years. I am determined to provide them with as many positive learning opportunities during these critical learning stages of their lives. The materials I am requesting will impact their lives by providing them with the opportunities to investigate educational content in a visual and hands-on way. My students are motivated and ready to learn, but lack a strong expressive language foundation. By allowing them to explore complex concepts in a fun and captivating way, my students can grow into life-long learners with curiosity in their hearts and inquisitive thoughts in their minds.
