These building materials will allow our students to compete in the First Tech Challenge. Students all over the country participate in this challenge, and my students would love the opportunity to do so as well. The start up costs to any technology component is huge, but these materials will allow us to build the robot we need to compete. With these materials, we will be able to compete in the competition which could lead to travel and scholarship opportunities for my students who rarely get to visit big cities and events. This is the first activity of this kind at our school. Our students are excited, and younger grades are excited to participate when they get in high school. This is one of the first steps to put this program in place. Your generosity will allow these students to explore something they have never done before.
