The books will be repackaged and sent home with each student to enhance their independent reading while at home! Without being in the classroom right now and library’s closed, access to books to read on their own is limited. Especially for a novice reader! These sets are full of a variety of topics which are motivating to young readers. They have words that are regularly used and learned within the virtual setting. Students will be able to gain confidence in reading colorful, image rich stories on their own! These Scholastic Readers will create a motivation to read. Stronger readers will be ready to enter First Grade with confidence and pride! I can't wait to see their faces when they discover how many books they are able to read on their own!
