My students come to school each day full of energy and ready to learn! in order to be fully engaged in learning they first must have the needed materials for students on ALL academic level, and be comfortable! They get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day. Then often get very restless and fidgety. This flexible seating would give them a variety of options and allow them to move around while learning. The book sets will allow students of all levels to be able to choose books of their level during guided reading! Some of the seating requested are wobble stools, exercise balls, and yoga cushions. The students are often learning and working in small groups. The flexible seating will allow them to move around easily, and freely. The books are used daily in our guided reading block. This project would greatly help my students stay engaged, comfortable, and intrigued! I am so excited to have these materials in my classroom community!
