Pediatric nurses, attorneys, neurosurgeons, policy analysts, project managers, writers and professors fill my classroom daily...well, they're a few years away from fulfilling their dreams of becoming experts in those fields, but this course helps prepare them for such ambitions. I am prepared to do all I can to help my students succeed in achieving their college and career goals. In a community where teenagers of color are sometimes overlooked or considered suspects, my 10th and 12th graders in Baltimore are working to create a new legacy for our city.

About my class
