Having Chromebooks in my classroom will help with differentiate instruction, group collaboration research projects, and individualized instruction. Having technology in my classroom will help prepare my students for the digital future. Today’s technology enables students to learn at their own pace. For example, almost all apps allow for individualized instruction. With the technology I will have access to a program called I-Ready. I-Ready, built for the Common Core, combines a valid and reliable growth measure and individualized instruction. The program pin-points student needs down to the sub level skill. Students will also have access to other online tools to help them successfully complete research articles and create presentations using web 2.0 tools.
