My students attend a Title 1 school in North Carolina. The students come from very diverse backgrounds, varying races and varying knowledge of science. Recently our Title 1 funds were cut from our counties budget, therefore teaching positions were cut and funds for classroom supplies were cut as well. Now students are having to adjust to being in larger classes with fewer resources.
