My students need scientific calculators to be able to calculate angles using trigonometric ratios. This can be done by hand, but is very difficult and involves large tables of numbers. I love mental math exercises, but at this high level of doing math, a calculator is really necessary. I believe we should teach students how to use calculators efficiently because they will always have one on their smart phone or computer when working in the real world. By donating to this project, you will be helping help my students work quicker and be more efficient with their time this year and for future classes of students too. My students and I thank you for your support.
