The Forensics classes will soon be starting a unit on forensic osteology and odontology (bones and teeth). Having models to handle and manipulate will assist them in learning the material, and can also be used to set up mock crime scenes, which the students LOVE (though I'm not sure the custodian appreciates them). These materials will be useful for years to come, and will also supplement other courses like biology and anatomy. Anatomy students will learn on the models and perform lab practicals to assess their understanding of the bones and bony markings where muscles are attached. Thanks for reading!
