My school is a large Title I school where eighty percent of the students live below the poverty line. My students are racially, academically, and economically diverse. Many of them face situations that no child should ever face, like being temporarily homeless. Yet, they are also hardworking, enthusiastic young people full of potential and possibilities. They have lots of life and energy. They love to learn, especially in new and exciting ways, and they recognize that they are part of a larger, generous community. Please consider helping me to make this their best year ever!
