Help me give my students the cameras and film equipment they need to succeed! We will be working on original work in small groups. Students will learn sound, lighting, and editing using these cameras! These items are critical! This year BPCS will begin the inaugural year of the much-anticipated film class! Intro to Film is designed to give students all the creative and technical tools they need to tell stories through film. Students will be introduced to the cinematic craft and learn how to use Industry standard cameras, lighting design, sound design, storyboarding to create multiple short films. Additionally, students will use their equipment and skills in collaboration with technical theater and scriptwriting classes. These collaborations will result in a final short film. These projects teach students the art of working with others, creating and maintaining shooting schedules, and completing a film from ideation to the cutting room.
