I teach some of the most amazing kids! My Specials class, called "Explorations," educates general education, ESE, ASD and ESOL students. No matter who they are or where they come from, once part of the Boynton Bunch, always part of the Boynton Bunch! I started to incorporate a flexible seating environment last year and had some amazing results, especially for my students who have in the past struggled with behavior issues, mostly because of their need to move! I adamantly believe in the power of teaching students to have a Growth Mindset and that Arts Integration is the key to breaking the learning barriers of many struggling students. Every student can not only learn, but meet the high expectations I have for them and they eventually develop for themselves!
