Calm corners are such an incredible tool to have in a classroom. It provides a safe place for students to use and improve their self-regulation skills. The soft and safe tree stumps and the cozy corner canopy will create that space for my students. A calm down space can be the intermediary that helps a student acknowledge their frustrations​ but stops them before they can escalate. By donating to our project you'll be helping students learn how to become emotionally stable. I want to teach my students that its ok to feel sad, mad or frustrated; but Id like to give them a safe place to do so.

About my class
