These books will add diversity to the topics and characters within my classroom library, as well as the schools. By donating these books to our libraries, you are allowing every student to see themselves in something they read, as well as bring awareness to the crucial situations regarding race happening in our country today. Students will be able to select books that really hit home with something they can relate to. Now, more than ever, we need these books.
