Google Cardboard Virtual Reality Headsets will allow my students to travel the world from the safety of their own classroom. After reading about Ancient Rome, the Google Cardboard VR Headset will allow them to travel there and see the Ancient Coliseum, the Arch of Constantine, and the Pantheon. Google Cardboard will bring the field trip to them. Using Google Expeditions, students will be able to research a variety of topics that will give them a hands on view of Art, Science, Culture, and even historical events such as the Revolutionary War. Their horizons will be expanded and their knowledge increased far more than simply looking at still images on a computer.
