Due to COVID, my students have had to learn in very unique and challenging situations. For many of them, this is their first year in a classroom. My project focuses on giving my students opportunities to express themselves through the visual arts and practice their language skills in a safe, welcoming classroom environment. My students can learn new ways to express their emotions and showcase their creativity through our weekly art lessons. They will use whiteboards to practice their phonics and language skills, and strengthen those skills in digital libraries and on a class blog. The computer mice and headphones will help to support that goal. I also seek to provide flexible seating options to my students, and facemasks to keep them happy and healthy.
