I am new to a position in an inner city, serving as a Behavior Interventionist. I am in two schools working with students who struggle with academic and behavior issues. We are building a Reset Room that will help students when they need time to process their emotions. This room will help them to calm down, process their emotions and refocus on the task of returning back to their classes. The resources requested in the project are tools that will be used in small groups, classroom lessons and one-on-one sessions with students to help teach regulation of emotions.
