Hello. I am starting a band from scratch here at LGA. The school is currently renting instruments from a music store to provide for each student. We currently have no band songs or repertoire to play (besides what I have collected on Donors Choose). I want to build a music library full of classics band literature, new, exciting pieces, and pieces that represent the diversity found in my classroom. My biggest classroom needs are 1. new instruments, 2. band sheet music, 3. band instrument supplies. I am excited to be here at LGA, look forward to building the program and adding more students each year, and hope to create band opportunities for high school students as well.
