Flexible seating increases secondary focus. Allowing continuous movement while sitting relaxes the right side of the brain, leading to better focus. Flexible seating not only helps kiddos that are diagnosed with all forms of ADD, ADHD, and Autism, but it provides all kids with an outlet to move around without distracting other students. Kids of all ages are naturally active, and these stools encourage students to get their wiggles out while remaining in their seat. Flexible seating will be used at my small group instruction table on a daily basis. Typically five to six students join me at my table for guided reading instruction and small group math instruction.
