I am lucky to be the librarian for a wonderful group of hard working dedicated students. Over 70% of my students live in poverty, about the same amount are learning English as a second language. These children need access to good literature and yet their reading levels doesn't always match their interest levels. Most of these children come from families where parents don't have high school diplomas and yet they want much more for their children.

About my class
