As an excited 3rd grade teacher at a Title I school, I want to be positive my students not only have the necessary academic skills, but also have the skills to apply what I teach to real world situations. Also, I want to be sure they constant examples of thankfulness, kindness, and helpfulness the hours they spend at school. Some of our kids spend 7 hours a day at school while others spend almost 11. If each of those minutes is used purposefully... imagine the difference we will make!
