I taught previously at a school in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The District had more funds and supplies than my current school. In Wisconsin, I had a large supply of books for students to borrow and take home to read with their families. At my current school, I have some books for my students to read at school only. If my students receive these donated books, they will be able to read these books in class and take them home to read to/with their families. When they are finished sharing their joy of reading, they bring the book back and exchange it for another. I called this homework "Book-in-a-Bag" in Wisconsin. Thank you!

About my class
