The students in this classroom are the coolest kids on the block. We have such a wide range of learners and many different strengths. One strength that every student in my class possesses is their questioning and investigating skills. During each lesson, I have been asked more questions that dig deeper into the lesson than planned. They really like to know the background of how things were invented and how they work; they like to challenge me. As our school is a Title 1, low poverty school, we don't have all the necessary tools we need to help these little minds dig deeper. I can stand in front of my class and tell them an answer; but I'd rather give them the necessary tools and let them figure it out for themselves. If we get this set that includes many different activities for each of our math topics, I can give them the necessary tools to dig deeper.
