Kid-friendly tablets for our kindergarten classroom would help us make better use of our existing subscriptions to on-line reading and math practice programs. The kids beg for turns to use the programs and this would allow more of them to make use of the valuable learning tools. The tablets will also be used to assist during "read to self" time in kindergarten where we can select books that are read to individual students from on-line selections which provide a format for them to follow along as the words are read. This does not replace core instruction/practice but is used to supplement it!
