Our school district is adopting a new reading program called Units Of Reading, but we do not have enough funds to build the library with leveled readers that will take full advantage of the program and help kids be better readers. The classroom books I have requested will help both with the reading instruction and independent reading practice by students! The purpose is to help kids enjoy the process of learning to read with the help of these books! Students will get to pick ten books a week for independent practice. They get to exchange books every Friday or earlier if they are done reading all of them!
