My scholars attend a school that is in its first year of specialization in STEAM, with limited resources for expanding our scholars' access to the newest technology. My scholars are working to prepare for careers in the 21st century, where the mastery of technology like the Google Suite is becoming an expectation. Students need to be able to research information and explain their thinking by creating blogs, brochures, slideshows, websites, and videos. With these 5 Chromebooks, my scholars will be able to have more access to the Google Suite and Google Classroom to be able to hone their technological skills. Most of my scholars do not have access to a Chromebook or similar technology at home, but have the greatest desire to perfect their skills using this technology in our classroom.
