My classroom is full of 12-18 1st Graders who are ready to learn each year! I teach in a rural district with small class sizes, a great classroom and school environment, and the motto "Learn. Achieve. Succeed!". This year I am expected to have 15 1st Graders join me in my classroom. I am busy preparing to finally meet them! In 1st Grade our students get DESKS! They become more independent in their reading, writing, and math. They show HUGE growth from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. It is so much fun to watch them learn and grow and readers, friends, mathematicians, and classmates. I love becoming a part of their lives, and getting to know them and their families each year!
