The only time my students experience technology is in the classroom. We will use these Chromebooks to better help prepare my students for academic achievement, state testing, and the 21st Century! In today's classrooms, most all assignments and learning games are on the computer. My class has a disadvantage to many students with not only their learning disabilities, but also lack of worldly experiences and limited exposure to technology. I will use these Chromebooks in my classroom to allow my students to build computer skills and hands on learning experiences with games through ABCYA.com, Stride Academy, Cool Math, and other educational websites. This will also allow my students to be able to practice objectives that we learn throughout the year for the state test.
