My students are curious, adventurous, funny, and eager to learn about the world beyond their community. While many may never have the opportunity to travel beyond South Carolina, let alone the United States, they deserve to experience the wonder and diversity of our world. That is why I am passionate about teaching geography. My goal is to bring the world to their fingertips through engaging lessons, maps, technology, virtual field trips, and hands-on learning experiences. I also want students to see how geography connects to their own lives, from the food they eat and the weather they experience to the products they use every day. Together, these experiences help students explore different cultures, understand global connections, and realize they are part of a much larger world.
