Our high school is in a Title I school in a rural Oklahoma community. In spite of the rural location and economic disadvantages prevalent in our district, our teachers continue to work tirelessly to push our students into high achievements on state mandated testing. Our students are using media every day, and I want to help them use those resources for something more than just entertainment. My goal is for my students to be more in tuned with their physical world by exposing them to real-world applications of the concepts we are learning in the classroom.

About my class
