When my students returned on-campus, many students said they were lonely and felt disconnected from their peers, and the number one request I had from my Homeroom class was for me to help them develop friendships again. During Homeroom the goal is for students to be able to focus on social-emotional learning, so having access to engaging games will help them develop self-management/regulation, decision-making skills, relationship skills, social awareness, and self-awareness. When playing a variety of games, students will have common goals and tasks to communicate about, they will engage in problem solving, and they will have time to have fun and develop relationships that will hopefully extend into their personal lives. Thank you in advance for considering donating and helping our youth reconnect to their peers during this difficult time in education.
