Our goal this year is to expose our Kindergarten kiddos to more quality pieces of text. These books were chosen to support our curriculum standards along with support for social skills. It is important to choose books that are at least 2-3 grade levels above their reading level during oral read alouds to enhance vocabulary and listening comprehension. Many of my students do not always have access to quality pieces of text at home, so I would like to provide them with the extra support at school. My kinders love listening to stories, and I would like to expose them to more!

About my class
