My students are excited to learn and eager to use technology as much as possible. Students of all ages are becoming more and more technology dependent and my students are no different. They attend an elementary school that has poverty stricken students as well as upper class students. My students love to incorporate new tools into lessons but unfortunately, our class has limited technology. The technology budget at our school is very tight and does not include money for projectors/interactive whiteboards or desktop computers for the classroom. We have just adopted a new math program, where 90% of the program is geared toward a projector or interactive whiteboard. This makes it very hard to teach the lessons using all the materials provided.
