Students in the 5th and 6th grade in Fairfax County are able to sign up to play a band instrument! Students with financial need are able to rent an instrument from the school for a reduced cost. That cost however does not include reeds. Students who play the clarinet, bass clarinet, or alto saxophone need a reed in order to make a sound on their instrument. One box of reeds can cost around $25, however this cost may be too high for some families. Please consider donating to help me supply reeds to my students in need. Every donation counts and can help make a different no matter the size. Thank you!
