This interactive writing easel will allow my students and I to interact in writing and reading activities to help them gain new phonics, comprehension, grammar and thinking skills. Through writing experiences, students become better thinkers and problem solvers. This easel will allow my students to "easel-ly" learn about all subjects in class. This easel will help maintain student focus on the importance of the targeted skill for the lesson by increasing student engagement in the current activity at hand. I don't presently have any easel at all and have used the dry erase board which is not conducive to a writing lesson. Having an easel would make it easier for students to be involved in the writing process as we create together!
